Schools Tree Day 2019
Busselton Toyota headed down to Georgiana Molloy Anglican School, Geographe Primary School and Cornerstone Christian College Dunsborough to get their hands dirty planting trees to celebrate Schools Tree Day.
Schools Tree Day is part of Australia’s biggest community tree-planting and nature care event, National Tree Day, which encourages communities to help preserve the environment for future generations. Schools Tree Day is a great way to teach kids about caring for the environment and creating a greener future. The students are given an opportunity to plant and care for the seedlings as they grow, while also beautifying the school grounds.
- Wayne Gabriel, Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer
It’s inspiring to see our dealerships connecting with local communities and schools and instilling the importance of preserving the environment in our next generation.
The support we’ve received for Schools Tree Day and National Tree Day over the last 20 years from Toyota Australia dealerships all over Australia is an inspiring testament to the company’s values.
2019 is the 20th anniversary of Toyota Australia’s support for the national campaign. Over 2,000 schools were involved last year as part of National Tree Day.
