20th National Tree Planting Day 2015
Making new homes for endangered Western Ringtail Possums
Busselton Toyota and GeoCatch teamed up for National Tree Planting Day and visited Capel and Geographe Primary Schools to plant trees with students.
Busselton Toyota dealer principal Laurie Saltarini said he had sponsored the event for the last 16 years and this year they planted trees to make new homes for the endangered Western Ringtail Possums.
Busselton Toyota donated over 500 peppermint trees and shrubs which were planted at the schools by students who were given t-shirts, gloves, hats and gardening equipment on the day.
Mr Saltarini said it was an important cause for Busselton Toyota because the trees helped offset the emissions produced by cars.
